Woodworking tools auction in Glen Ellyn seeks sellers for DuPage Woodworkers event

Woodworking tools and related items will be featured at live auction.
Woodworking tools and related items will be featured at live auction.

The DuPage Woodworkers club hones plans for its annual woodworking tool auction Saturday morning, July 25, in Glen Ellyn.

"People are invited to bring their woodworking tools to sell to make room in their shops for more tools, or to buy the tools they've been looking for," said Keith Rosche, club member.

Nonmembers who sell tools, wood and related items will be charged a 10-percent commission. No commission applies to members selling items.

Bidding will start at 9 a.m., and doors open at 8 a.m. The event is set in the club's regular meeting place in St. James the Apostle Catholic Church at Park Boulevard and 22nd Street in Glen Ellyn.

For more information on the event or the club, call Rosche at 312-330-0774 or visit dupagewoodworkers.org.

The organization, whose 160 members are devoted to improving woodworking skills, generally holds monthly meetings each fourth Wednesday at 7 p.m., and newcomers are welcome.
