Woodstock police arrest Rockford man after alleged burglary at laundromat

WOODSTOCK – Woodstock police have arrested a Rockford man for burglary and criminal damage to property.

Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Eastwood Coin Laundry around 5 a.m. May 5. After briefly searching the business, officers found a man damaging property and burglarizing the business and took him into custody, police said.

Kenneth S. Nepras, 25, of the 1800 block of Kishwaukee Avenue, Rockford, was charged with burglary, a Class 2 felony and criminal damage to property, a Class A misdemeanor. If convicted of the most serious charge, Nepras could face three to seven years in prison.

Nepras was taken into custody to the McHenry County Jail. His bond is set at $75,000.
