The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a woman missing since Sept. 25 near Lisle, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.
Amy Nelson, 39, was last seen at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 25 at the Four Lakes apartment complex near Lisle. She is considered to be a missing endangered person, the release stated.
Nelson has no means of transportation or financial options with her, according to the release.
She is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 145 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair, blue eyes and glasses, the release stated. She was last seen wearing a gray or dark blue shirt, blue jeans and Birkenstock sandals, and she may be carrying a maroon backpack.
Nelson has family in both Lisle and La Grange Park, according to the release.
