I settled on the last, and I wasn't disappointed. The mac and cheese bites arrived piping hot and bursting with flavor as I bit into them. And the house-made campfire sauce added an extra "oomph" to the appetizer.
A warning to those who have never been to North Side – you had better arrive hungry. The mac and cheese bites very well could have been a meal, as the restaurant doled out a generous portion of them. And the bites themselves were jumbo-sized.
The rest of North Side's menu is equally extensive. Chicken fajitas, sirloin steak, Cajun chicken pasta, chicken wings and burgers are among the restaurant's entrees.
With such toppings as crispy onion strings, sauerkraut, grilled mushrooms and fried egg to choose from, I opted for the restaurant's build-a-burger – a half-pound Angus beef burger with as many as four toppings of your choice. You also can choose from several varieties of cheese.
