WESTMONT WINTER BEER FEST

ABOUT: The Winter Beer Fest will feature local craft brewers under heated tents, complemented by food trucks and campfires. The park will host breweries such as Pollyanna, More Brewing, Noon Whistle, Metal Monkey, Miskatonic, Whiskey Hill, Kinslahger, Wild Onion, Elmhurst Brewing Co., Afterthought, Scallywags and Black Horizon. Participants will receive 20, 4-ounce pours. A festival room rate is offered at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills, with shuttle service.

ABOUT: The Bloomingdale Artists Association will present a nautical oil painting demonstration by Eric Nils Forsberg, a noted marine artist mentored by the late Charles Vickery of Brigantine Gallery fame in Downers Grove. Forsberg pursued his art aboard trawlers, lobster boats and tall ships. His painting that night will be auctioned.
